Prices, materials and availability may change, and an estimate may be subject to an expiration date stated in the estimate itself. The terms of any specific estimate control over any general statement made on this website.

5. Project scope

The work we perform is limited to the scope described in the written estimate or agreement accepted by the customer. Work not described in that document — including conditions discovered after work begins, such as hidden damage, moisture, or substrate problems — is not included unless it is added by agreement of both parties.

6. Separate written agreement

Actual project pricing, scope, materials, payment schedule, timelines, warranties and other project terms are governed by a separate written estimate or agreement accepted by the customer — not by this website. If anything on this website conflicts with that signed or accepted document, the document controls.

7. Scheduling

Project dates are scheduled by agreement. Weather, material availability, site conditions, permitting where applicable, and work discovered during a project can affect the schedule. We will communicate with you about scheduling changes as they come up.

8. Changes to the work

If you request additional work, or if conditions at the property require work beyond the agreed scope, we will discuss the change with you. Additional work may affect the price and the schedule and should be documented in writing before it is performed.

9. Customer responsibilities

To help a project run smoothly, the customer is generally responsible for:

• providing accurate information about the property and the work requested;
• removing, or telling us about, fragile, valuable or personal items in the work area;
• disclosing known conditions such as leaks, moisture, prior damage or previous repairs;
• confirming any approvals required by a landlord, condominium association, homeowners association, or property manager;
• providing timely decisions on colors, finishes and other selections that affect the schedule.

10. Property access

The customer agrees to provide safe and reasonable access to the work areas during scheduled work times, including access to power and water where the work requires it. Delays caused by lack of access may affect the schedule and the cost of the project.

11. Payment terms

Payment terms — including any deposit, progress payments, accepted payment methods and the final balance — are set out in the written estimate or agreement for your project. This website does not process payments and does not collect payment information.

12. Cancellations and rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule, contact us as soon as possible. Cancellation and rescheduling terms for a specific project, including any terms relating to materials already ordered or work already performed, are governed by the written estimate or agreement for that project and by any cancellation rights provided under applicable law.

13. Project photographs

We may take photographs of work in progress and completed work for our own internal records and quality purposes. We will not publish photographs of your property in marketing materials, on this website or on social media without your separate authorization. You may withdraw that authorization for future use at any time by contacting us.

14. Intellectual property

The content of this website — including text, layout, graphics, the SWF Painting & Drywall name and logo, and the arrangement of the site — is owned by SWF Painting & Drywall, LLC or used with permission, and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use in evaluating our services.
